Meet the Scholé Leadership Team
Who are we?
Scholé Homeschool Center of Harrisburg is a classically-minded group of students, parents, and educators meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays in Harrisburg, PA. Our vision is to create a peaceful learning environment where families help each other to pursue academic excellence in the context of a Christian community that promotes the contemplation of truth, goodness, and beauty. Classes are available for Pre-K through High School. We are a cooperative group and rely on the participation of our families to accomplish our goals.
Scholé Director - Becky Cribbs
Becky loves learning alongside her five children. Having grown up as a kinesthetic child who struggled to sit still, she has worked hard to read more widely and think more critically. She believes that all parents can become proficient readers and thinkers, and that Schole is a wonderful place to “join the conversation”—that is, partake with the great thinkers of the past as we continue to refine our educational philosophy, drawing on the riches of both traditional classical education and the Charlotte Mason method.
Carla serves our community by coordinating the upper school. With two decades of homeschool experience and two handfuls of kids, she and her family have richly benefitted from Scholé over the years. She loves walking alongside both students and parents in the final stretch of the journey, where the baton of instruction is largely handed off to our amazing teachers.
Upper School Director - Carla Snyder
Dayna has a passion for creating a sense of wonder and excitement within the classroom through quality literature and hands-on learning. Prior to being called to homeschool, Dayna taught elementary special education. Her 11 years of teaching special education ignited a passion to teach and accommodate children of all abilities. She loves having the opportunity to learn alongside her three girls and the Scholé community.
Grammar School Director - Dayna Davis
Natalie is a mother of four with a strong homeschooling background and a passion for helping families pursue this form of education with excellence. She values the structure, quality, and community provided through Scholé and is dedicated to helping our young students grow in both knowledge and wonder.
